I liked Heart of Darkness. Although admittedly it wasn't until the third time I was forced to read it that I finally was allowed to just read the damn thing instead of microanalyzing every little nit-picky bit of it. And when I did that I realized it was actually a good book.

Ooh, I've read half the Smitty list! Of course, I think several were actual Smitty copies handed to me in college, but it still counts.

And it also took me a couple readings to like Heart of Darkness. High school, nope. College, yes.

I loved Heart of Darkness. The first time, and every time after.

Yes, I'm twisted, I know.
